Did you know that Coffee was first smuggled into India in the 16th century by a Sufi Saint called Baba Budan.
Premising their dream venture of the search for finely handpicked, dried, roasted and brewed Coffee, on Baba Budan’s name..here are two Gargi College graduates- Sadhavi and Mrinal. They proferred to the Western Ghats in quest of aromatic and fresh Coffee; and incepted ‘Baba’s Beans’ – A world of out-of-the-box Coffee beverages, that well takes your mind, soul and taste-buds by a storm.
Their tagline ‘Boosting Dopamine Levels’ is surely a righteous choice, as Coffee aficionados or non-Coffee drinkers, all get an arduous shot or dopamine with their magnificent drinks.
You must have had variations of cold Coffee, but ever tried a Peppermint one?! Well, here you go!
They have an adorable and refreshing Mint Espresso too <3
My favouite was the ‘Blackberry’; a peculiar yet addictive twist to the loved ‘Cold Brew’. With notes of Blackberry, Strawberry, and mint, a perfect balance of Caffeine, sweetness and fruity after-taste, it was bliss-in-a-shot.
There were bite-sized piquant Bruschettas, fruit tarts and quiches to go with the slew of satiating Coffee spread.
Their Blackbird, which was the quintessential Cold Brew with Mint, Cloves, Lime and Honey was a hit; and when you try it, you sure would have your heart to it too!
They offer Single Estate beans and signature house blends in various cooler and hot-cuppa options!
I am for sure keeping my next meeting at
Baba’s Beans at ALOFT and sipping on some of their goodness again, what about you?!
