Zorambo, world’s largest Caftaurant chain was officially launched at Central plaza, Golf Course Road, Gurgaon. The launch was graced by the best-selling author, Mr Chetan Bhagat as well as Mr Anurag Bhushan, Joint Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs.
It brings to India a new concept of a Caftaurant- a Cafe+Restaurant where you can not only get some great coffee, tea and shakes but also a great variety of Indian snacks and mouthwatering desserts. This pocket friendly place boasts of sufficient food and beverage options to substitute for both- a coffee place as well as a restaurant. It also has a curated co-working space wherein a customer can simply plug-in their laptops and plan meetings outside of their offices.
The Caftaurant is vibrant and colourful, with bright blue and yellow decor. The seating is a little limited, but not uncomfortably so. Their food options range from veg and non-veg Sandwiches, quiches and rolls on one hand to Dal Makhni and paneer on the other hand.
We definitely recommend trying the Paneer Kurkure, which is a unique vegetarian take on Chicken Popcorns and is extremely yummy! The chicken Kurkure was equally good.
They also have a range of coffees, both house blend and single estate and choice of a few desserts, out of which we liked the chocolate mousse.
Our only concern was the service, which was quite slow. However, since the launch was heavily attended by the food fraternity, we’ll give them the benefit of doubt.
