Little did it’s cofounder – Kratant Khandelwal’s ancestors know, during their visit to the legendary Moti Mahal 40 years back; that their future generation would serve lip smacking grub to the Gurugrammers now.
Pashtoon does delivery of its curries and breads too, but Kratant insists that you go there to experience the food, as he interacts with you, especially while this weather supports it.
I Zomato-ed the place before going..and boy! So many positive reviews, nothing less than a 4.5 star for a 2 month old outlet..so I knew I was in for a treat.
Idk about you. but this is the most beautiful Cauliflower I have seen. Nicely marinated., garnished and plated, the above one is ‘Tandoori phool’
The Good ‘ol Paneer Tikka
Now for something different..Not the usual barbeque Pineapple.. but delish Tandoori Apple, Guava and Pineapple..with..out any oil.
Moving to the mains..
- Let them serve you Dal pashtoon, ie Dal cleaned and cooked overnight without any cream, taken off in the morning and prepared for another 3 hours.
- Roghani naan is a different well-done Naan ounced with Roghani masale.
- Khameeri roti – A fluffy and different roti that hails from Kashmir.
The meal was well rounded with indulgent Phirni, that was graciously topped with Saffron and Chillongi, all the way from Kashmir and Milan.
So guys, head over here, or order the Afghani/Baluchi feast, from Pashtoon, Sushant Lok 1, Gurgaon.
