The Courtyard by Marriott, Gurugram has organized the Awadhi food festival “The Aromas of Awadh” celebrating the rich flavours of Awadh. The menu has been curated by Chef Abdul Haleem who carries long credibility and served the connoisseurs world around. The festival is on from 13th to 22nd April and serves authentic Awadhi food in their restaurant Downtown.
The festival vibes catch you the moment you enter the hotel premises… the serving staff is dressed in Nawabi-era dresses and greet you with all the nawabi adab. Inside the restaurant, the décor is in-line with the theme and has paintings of nawabs adorning the walls.
The lavish buffet has been put together very thoughtfully and has the delicacies for both veg and the non-veg diners. The moment you settle down you are served a refreshing Thandai in a kulhad along with a bottle of nimbu shikanji. There’s a huge variety to choose from the local Awadhi delights like Murgh Barrah Kebab, Paneer Peeli Mirch Tikka, Lagan Ka Murgh, Kachi Machli ka Salan, Gosht Sadgi Korma Gosht Tahe Pulao with their dishes Awadhi flavours, and also other Chinese and Continental.
The dessert section too has immense variety right from Shahi Tukda to Sheer Korma.
