How often do you get to have a one-on-one with folksfrom diverse domain
s sharing their experiences and start-up stories over sparkling wine? Definitely not often, especially when the event is in association with Chandon, so you get to learn mixology from the master curators of sparkling wine themselves!
Being through a bumpy ride starting-up a fusion cuisine cafe and having dealt with the closure of the same, I didn’t think twice before accepting the invitation for the Little Black Book event hoping to get insights on how’s the ride been for the entrepreneurs attending.
The event was organised at Fio Cookhouse and Bar @ Epicuria Mall, Nehru place, an ideal venue for a Sunday luncheon with well designed sit-outs and a contemporary bar layout inside. The LBB team graciously welcomed the guests and to starting on a high note with a toast was mandatory.
Suchita from LBB then explained the idea of the meet and conducted the introduction where everyone shared their highs and lows of the year. It was a great experience to meet and hear from entrepreneurs of various fields, followed by a cocktail making session from Rohit(chandon). We got to fix the elderflower drink ourselves and it was quite a refreshing spritzer.
I got to sit with a blogger and a tour operator; it was an amazing experience to share about our journeys and how each of us are treading with life.
The food at Fio Cookhouse and Bar was outstanding as usual to say the least, we were presented with a 3 course menu which was wonderfully crafted for a winter brunch. My favourites were the john dory fish and the tiramisu, the linguini pasta with a hint of garlic and four kinds of mushroom was delightful too.
This Sunday was a wonderfully light, enhancing and a cheerful day out incredibly managed by the LBB team. Gung ho guys, keep em coming!!
