Extra Moist Eggless Cake

Baking Instructions:

1. Heat the oven at 180°C.

2. Mix cake mix, 150ml water, 100gm salted butter (or 80g oil and a pinch of salt) in a bowl until smooth.*

3. Grease the inside of a 8” square pan and pour the batter in.

4. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes or until a knife / toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean. Cool in the pan and then turn out.

*If desired 1 egg can be added to the batter.

Recipe Suggestions:

Chocolate Nut Cake Recipe:

After preparing the batter add approximately 30g (3 tbsp.) of Fun Foods Chocolate Topping and approximately 40g of chopped almonds, walnuts and raisins.

After pouring in the baking dish sprinkle finely chopped nuts.

Bake as per above instructions.

Rum and Raisin Chocolate Cake:

After preparing the batter add approximately 30g (3 tbsp.) of Fun Foods Chocolate Topping, 50ml (1 peg) Rum and 40g of raisins.

Bake as per instructions above.

Eggless Chocolate Muffins:

1. Heat the oven at 180°C.

2. Mix cake mix, 150ml water, 100gm salted butter (or 80g oil and a pinch of salt) in a bowl until smooth.*

3. Grease the inside of a muffin tray and divide and pour the batter.

4. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes or until a knife / toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean. Cool in the pan and then turn out.

*If desired 1 egg can be added to the batter.
