Smartphone Review: Honor 8

Huawei Honor launches its smartphone, the Honor 8 today. Its dual rear camera setup is what sets it apart from the old phone Huawei came up with. It has a premium metal build that gives it a royal feel. The fingerprint scanner at the back of the phone is very responsive.

The phone will be available at Rs. 29,999. It can be purchased from:

  • Amazon,
  • Flipkart,
  • Honor Online store

The colour options are:

  • Sunrise Gold,
  • Pearl White,
  • Sapphire Blue.

Honor 8 has a 5.20-inch touchscreen display, the resolution of the screen is 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels. It has a 1.8GHz octa-core Kirin 950 processor, 4GB of RAM and 32GB storage but you can use a microSD card to expanded it to 128GB. It is perfect for travel photography and selfies as it has a 12-megapixel back camera and an 8-megapixel front camera.

What I like is that the phone has a 24 months extended warranty. It is a good looking phone and for this price I recommend it as it is packed with loads of interesting inbuilt features.
