#AnythingButOrdinary – that’s the ideology The Park Hotels believe in. The thoughtfulness behind each of these experiences is exquisite – be it the Ramadan Food Walks conducted every year during Ramzan or the recent in-room dining experience curated by The Park Hotels – customer experience is the focus.
Last year October, when we got an invite to be part of The Park’s New Festival, we were just aware of the fact that it a devised piece of physical comedy by Rupesh Tillu – the experience was out of this world. Engrossed – we never realized when 90 minutes passed by, such was the aura of the artist. Other events showcased a musical dialogue and a contemporary dance performance.
Brainchild of The Park Hotels and Prakriti Foundation, the first edition of The Park’s New Festival was crafted in 2007 and since then there has been no looking back. Carrying the journey of curating art and culture forward, the decadal edition of The Park’s New Festival is being hosted from September 2 – September 22 across six cities.
The Delhi chapter of The Park’s New Festival is being hosted over 3 days from September 20 – September 22 – showcasing talents like NERVES – a contemporary dance performance by Surjit Nongmeikpam, an exceptional music performance by Grammy nominated Shashank Subramanyam & Accordion World Champion Lelo Nika & a theater performance, Elephant in the room, by Yuki Ellias and Ajinkya Shenava inspired by the legends of the Elephant God (specifically commissioned for The Park’s New Festival 2016).
