Acidity, Gas and Heartburn
If you have been eating irregularly and skipping meals acidity, gas and heartburn can be the cause of pain.
Hiatal Hernia
A hiatal hernia can be diagnosed with an endoscopy but if you are experiencing persistent acid reflux, acidity and bloating then it is best to get yourself tested. You may experience pain in the left side together with heartburn and reflux.
Weight Gain
If your weight has increased or isn’t in the normal BMI range it may lead to chest pains as your heart is working harder to pump blood.
Stress
If you worry too much and have a hectic schedule it may result in pains. Find time to take breaks and relax to prevent heart issues.
Diabetes
If you have diabetes you may have pains in your chest and you will need to change your diet, workout and lower your alcohol intake.
Smoking
Quit smoking or try to reduce it if you are experiencing such pains as smoking may be the cause.
Respiratory Tract Related Problems
If you are suffering from asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia or TB, you may also experience chest pains. This may be accompanied by coughing, breathlessness and uneasiness.
Kidney Stones
Kidney stones may also result in chest pain on the left side together with severe breathing issues.
