- Bring your inner Chef out
One of the best ways to unwind is by slicing and dicing vegetables for lunch or dinner. The steady chop, chop, chop of knife against the cutting board quiets mind and soothes soul. Cooking is meditation with the promise of a good meal afterward. Try out some never-tried-before and can refer to some cookbooks like The Joy of Cooking, I’m Just here for the food, Martha Stewarts Cooking School, The Dal Cookbook or Madhur Jaffrey’s Ultimate Curry Bible.
- Follow Olympics
Long work hours among many other things don’t allow us the time to follow the Olympics but only glance through the highlights! Utilise the long-weekends to enjoy the various sports, nothing can provide edge of the seat drama like the Olympics! This is the first time India is sending more than 100 athletes to the Olympics and the majority will participate in hockey, track and field, shooting, archery, badminton and wrestling. It’s a must watch!
