The cuisine from the heaven on earth – Wazwan – literally translating to ‘cook-shop‘ is always a treat for foodies. With the royal wazwan boasting of 36 courses, half of them meat preparations – it has variety to satisy!!
Kama, the Indian speciality restaurant in Radisson Blu, Kaushambi is hosting a Kashmiri Wazwan food festival to bring the pleasures in the city. The vaste waze is Mrs. Mohini Mattoo, a grandmother, who supervises the chefs to bring out the homely flavours in dishes – backed by the 54 years of cooking experience she brings with her.
The festival has a special menu boasting of all the delicacies of the region – be it the so popular Kahwa, the spicy Haq Saag, the aromatic Dum Aloo Kashmiri, Kashmiri Rajma, Paneer Chaman among others for the vegetarians or the Ghushtaba, Rogan Josh, Mutton Yakhani & the famous Tabak Maaz adorning the non-vegetarian menu.
The best part about the food festival is the authenticity that Mrs. Mattoo brings with her. The non-commercial experience reflects in the dishes and you can feel the love and simplicity in the dishes, alongwith the medley of flavors!
The Kashmiri Wazwan festival is on from February 18 – February 28, 7 PM to 11:30 PM @ Radisson Blu, Kaushambi, Delhi NCR
Head out for that lovely delicacies and a gala experience.
