It’s been a week since I’ve been on this journey and I was really looking forward to weighing myself this morning to see a positive result. Guess what? No change. That is really disappointing and makes me feel I’m still not doing enough. I guess I’ll have to push harder to see better results. I’ll probably have to start working out in the gym too. However, I’m not looking to make any drastic changes or follow a strict diet because I know once I’m off it my weight will increase again. What I’m looking for is a lifelong commitment to eating healthy and living an active life. I don’t care if I only lose a kilo a month.
It’s not that I don’t know how to crank it up a notch. I’ve been on all kinds of diets and have worked out like there’s no tomorrow. Over the years I’ve just realised one thing, if you want to be fit forever, do it the way it suits you. Do it the way you are most comfortable because otherwise you will not be able to sustain the change long term.
I really need your encouragement and motivation to help me through this. I’ve been receiving some wonderful emails and ideas from you guys and I am very thankful for that.
I’m going to go to the beach again today and I will try my best to squeeze some gym into that.
