Reading Gretchen Rubin’s Better Than Before has made me question the importance of habits in my own life.

Do habits restrict freedom or do they allow you greater mental peace by allowing you to work within a framework without having to overexercise your brain with the nitty gritties of daily life.

Are there certain types of people who owing to their upbringing or genetic disposition are more likely to comply with habits or routines than others?

Can we form new habits easily and do away with old ones?

For the last few days, I have been on the #whole30 program which for me is one of the strongest tests of my willpower and the endeavor to unlearn habitual and toxic eating patterns.
