Restaurant Review: Hybrid, Janpath, Delhi

Suppose I tell you – whether you want to go to a cafe to enjoy a hearty breakfast in the morning, or a fine Italian restaurant to have some delectable Italian cuisine for lunch or dinner, or a night club for drinks with hip music and great finger food – you have a single destination – will you believe me? Probably not till date. Read on to learn how it became possible!

With establishments like Fork You, Lazeez Affaire, Raas, Out of the Box and many others under his cap, Priyank Sukhija launched the first of its kind hybrid restaurant of NCR (or perhaps India) by the same name – ‘HYBRID’. We were invited for the launch party, which happened at 55, Tolstoy Lane, Janpath.

HYBRID – as the name suggests – is a cafe in the morning, an Italian restaurant from noon to evening and becomes a nightclub at night. The change is not only in what the restaurant serves, the look and feel changes, the menus change, the servers’ uniform change as well!!

The launch party of HYBRID which happened at night was spectacular – and going by the experience, we can assure that this is going to be the most loved hangout place in town. With music that compels you to dance, perfectly curated finger food and a plush ambiance, there is nothing that stops you from coming to this place again and again.

The food (whatever we could try) was good and they have an extensive bar menu as well. The place is lovely, with plush sofas as well as bar stools type seating. The event saw the who’s who of the social circuit enjoying their night and dancing to the tunes of the DJ.

Given the music, the ambiance and the food, the place will be a popular choice for people looking to enjoy drinks with friends along with the finger food. As far as the cafe and Italian restaurant is concerned, we are sure they would live up to the expectations and provide a scrumptious experience to the clientele. As far as the night club is concerned, it is definitely on our go to list again and again.

Location:  54, Tolstoy Lane, Janpath, New Delhi
