Restaurant Review: Anidra – The Lodhi, Lodhi Road, Delhi – 4/5 Stars

Anidra is the place for me because I am an insomniac and when I am working several nights in a row, I really prefer to take a break and go out for a midnight snack. This is the place I picked last week because I really loved the name and the positive reviews I had read on Zomato.

The decor is chic but it is a tad too dark for my liking. However, if I put it in a romantic way, it is dimly lit. I love the wall that says Zinfandel because Zinfandel wine is my favourite and it reminds me of that.

The seating is luxuriously comfortable and you can sink into one of their cozy chairs for hours with a glass of wine in your hand and not have a worry in the world.

You can spend a romantic evening at this restaurant because you will not find a lot of people here even on a Saturday night. It is quite calm but that doesn’t mean that the food isn’t fab, it totally is. It just is very spacious and a lot of people don’t know about this place (Shoot! Did I just reveal my happy place?!)

Moving along, if you like mojitos, you will love their Passion Fruit Mojito, it is refreshing and is the best thing you can have on a hot summer evening. I love their Kamakazi shots, they get you in a state of trance almost instantly!

The amazing waterfall display fills your evening with more pleasure, as there is nothing as invigorating as a waterfall display in summer time. Everything is wonderful and dreamy.

I love their Fried Calzones – absolutely delicious. What I love better than the food and drinks is the fact that you can dance to lovely music. I love dancing a lot and this place is open until really late, so, after I am done working, I find myself at Anidra. I am always happy when I am at Anidra.

Their bar snacks include yellowtail makimono, wasabi, buttermilk onion rings, creamy cheese, etc. Everything is well thought out, nicely planned and well presented.

To top it all, the service is fabulous. I love how hospitable they are and how you hardly have to wait for food. It’s all a dream – love Anidra!
